How I Work with Children and Families

My love of working with children, teens, and families grew out of my experience as a play therapist in community mental health care and school settings. I am passionate about supporting young people, grounded in my deep belief that childhood is a formative time when many of the patterns and ways of relating to the world are developed.

I also enjoy working closely with parents. I understand how challenging and stressful it can be to balance the many roles of parent, professional, and partner. Today’s families are often expected to navigate competing demands with limited time and support, and I value the opportunity to help parents feel more grounded, confident, and connected in their role.
